She was united in marriage to Arnold LEI May 22, 1955. To this union, six children were born. Betty will be lovingly remembered by her children, Pam and Clyde Zweerink of Lincoln, Debby Achor of Louisville, Ky., Doug Lei of Lewisburg, Tenn., Tim and Lisa Lei of Fort Pierce, Fla., and Kathy and Larry Jude of Tampa, Fla.; 12 grandchildren; brothers, Bill and Jean Frank of Gering and Donald and Loretta Schmall of Scottsbluff; sisters, Hannah Swecker and Edna and LeRoy Yost both of Billings, Mont., Verna and Donald Walker of Sequim, Wash., Eleanor Wolff of Lansing, Ill., and Mary Ann and Chuck Cowan of Gering; numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members. Betty was preceded in death by her parents; stepfather; infant son, Joseph and son-in-law, Jim Achor.

Mr. Schmer is survived by his wife, four children and nine grandchildren. The children are Fred Schmer of Loveland, Mrs. Leah Collamer of Los Angeles, L. O. Schmer of Boise, Idaho, and Harold Schmer of Fort Collins. Brothers are Peter, Henry and David of Fort Collins, and Mrs. Susanna Loos of Fort Collins is a sister. The children are Jacob Schmer of Buckeye, Emanuel Schmer of Wellington, Mrs. Hannah Lehnert of Route 4, Fort Collins, and Mrs. Martha Fritzler of 6199 West Mulberry Street. In later years Leah met Max SCHACHTER and enjoyed 26 years of dancing, traveling and attending the theater. He preceded her in death. Among those who will greatly miss her sweet ways and her dry sense of humor will be her beloved sons, Ronald (Lynn) Schnell of Leadville, Colo. and Rick (Mary) Schnell of Littleton, Colo.; grandchildren, Heather, Jason, Veronica and Anthony and their families; brothers, Billy Schmick of Northfork, Calif. and Jake Schmick of Gering; sisters, Clara (George) Schreiner of Portland, Ore., Rachel (George) Satur and Helen (Al) Schlager, both of Denver, and Hilda (Dale) Marlin and Caroline (Dallas) Knotts of Gering; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. On Aug. 15, 1990, at Goessel, he married Ruth Ann Schmidt. She survives of the home. He was preceded in death by his parents, first wife, brother, Eddle Schmidt, and sisters, Ella Kater and Clara Schroeder. Survivors include his wife of the home; daughter, Carol Kay Beaushaw of Newton; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Burial was at the church cemetery.

Her father was Harry O. Schmidt. Her mother was Anna Marie Dortzbach. She met and fell in love with Henry B. BRACK. It was a romance that continued for more than 50 years, never faltering. They had four children Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband, Henry, and her eldest daughter, Donna Brack-Morgan. She will be greatly missed by her remaining children, H. Richard Brack and wife, Debra H. Brack, Susan M. Brack-Cuckler and Benjamin J. Brack and his wife, Susan Lee Brack. Mr. Schmidt ws united in marriage to Miss Clara SCHNEIDER of Hunter, on October 9, 1920, and to this union was born one son, Loren and two daughters, Ruth and Ivah. Born to G.F. and Anna (Fischer) Schneider. On Feb. 7, 1935, she married David FAHRENBRUCH at St. Paul's Congregational Church, Greeley. He died March 26, 1973. Mrs. Fahrenbruch came to the United States with her mother, two older brothers, Alex and Henry, her maternal grandparents, Henry and Catherina Fischer, and three maternal aunts, arriving in New York on Nov. 11, 1911, aboard the George Washington. Her father had preceded the family to the Fort Collins area as a sugar beet laborer. Survivors are a daughter, Florance Kammerzell and husband Larry of Greeley; two sons, Larry Duane Fahrenbruch of Green Valley, Ariz., and Melvin Fahrenbruch and wife Rosanne of Falcon; a brother, Edward F. Schneider and wife Ruth of Greeley; 12 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Son of Henry Schneider. When he was 3 years old his mother was called to the eternal home.  When 11 years old, he came to this country in company with his parents (his father having married again), three brothers, Phillip, Peter and John, and one sister, Christina, settling in Russell County in Feb. 1878.  At the age of 25 years, he returned to Russell County where on Dec. 25, 1891, he married Miss Katharina KEIL, daughter of George Keil.  Five children were born to the Schneider family:  Emanuel Schneider, LaJunta, Colo.; Mrs. Bertha Ernst and Mrs. Olinda Deines, both of Russell; Theobald Schneider of the home place and Herman Schneider, Wichita.  He is survived by his sorrowing wife, Katharina, all of his 5 children, 18 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren.  The body set to rest in the Milberger Cemetery.  The pallbearers were J. Strecker, Emanuel Becker, Emanuel Keil, Jacob Dumler, Solomon Wegele and Ben Keil.

On January 23, 1900, he was united in marriage to Katherine DIETZ in the Lutheran Church at Milberger.  One son, Harold, was born to this marriage, Jan. 13, 1901.  Mrs. Schneider died giving birth to he son.  She was buried at the Trinity (Bender) Hill) Lutheran Cemetery. On July 21, 1901, Mr. Schneider was united in marriage to Anna Elizabeth HERDT.  This marriage was blessed with 5 children, 3 boys and 2 girls. He is survived by the widow living at the Homestead Villa; 4 sons, Harold and Alvin, Hoisington; Ferdinand, San Francisco, Calif. and Victor, Russell; 2 daughters, Mrs. Natalie Strecker, Russell and Mrs. Viola Schwein, Hoisington; 9 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.  One grandchild, Raymond Pinelli died April 23, 1968.

His father died in 1925, when Henry was only 13, leaving him the heavy responsibility of sole provider for his mother, younger brother and sisters. He married Irene Carolyn NEY Sept. 17, 1935, daughter of Jake and Emma New of rural Dorrance.. Survivors include his wife of the home; one son, Dr. Norman Schneider and wife Karen of Ceresco, Neb.; one daughter, Sylvia Lilak of Wilson; three grandchildren: Renee Lilak Gildemeister and husband Bryan of Baltic, SD; John H. Lilak and wife Ann of Prairie Village, KS; and Nelson R. She was the second child of George Jaque Schneider and Katherine Elizabeth Michaelis. At the age of 22 she was united in holy wedlock to Mr. George Jacob MAI. In 1903 she accompanied her husband with two children to America. Seven children were born to Mr. and Mrs. Mai. One of these children, a daughter, at the age of 10 years, preceded the mother in death in 1919. Those who mourn her death are the husband, two sisters and one brother as follows: Mrs. George Bender, WaKeeney; Mrs. Adam Schwien, Bazine, Kansas; George A. Schneider, WaKeeney. Also her six children: Mrs. Immanuel Laas, Murdock, Kansas; Henry Mai, WaKeeney; Mrs. Henry Wegele, Galatia, Kansas; Fred J. Mai, WaKeeney, Kansas; Mrs. August J. They have three children, Jodi, of Sheboygan Falls, Tonia of Ypsilanti, Mich. and David of Sheboygan. He is survived by his wife and children, and the following sisters and brothers, Beverly Keliin of Iron River, Franklin (Sarah) Schneider of Crivitz, Richard (Maria Pilar) Schneider of Wayland, Iowa, Ernst Schnedier of Charleston, S.C., William (Delores) Schneider of Greenbush, Sandra Schneider of Plymouth and Sally (Ken) Gorsege of Greenbush. He is also survived by his mother-in-law, Martha Meise; sisters-in-law, Irene, Mary, and Maureen Schneider and Carolyn Porter; brother-in-law, James Bartrum; numerous nieces, nephews and many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters and brothers, Robert, John, Donald, Earl, Theodore and Ruth Schneider, Audrey Bartrum, Phyllis Ward and Sarajane Schneider.
