and Kathleen and husband, John Voris, of Carmel, Calif.; four grandchildren,
Barbara Hassan, of Scottsbluff, Gordon Meisner, of Scottsbluff, Jerald (Shelly)

Dale Marvin Langhofer was born July 21, 1924, at the home of his parents near
Woodbine, Kansas. Dale was inducted in the U.S. Army in May 1943. He was taken
ill in France and was flown to Halloran Hospital in New York and later transferred
to Walter Reed Hospital in Washington, D. C. In the fall of 1946 the family
moved to Abilene where he spent the remainder of his life. Burial was in the
Woodbine Cemetery, Woodbine, Kansas

of section 33 of Liberty Township in Dickinson County, Kansas. At the age of

In 1874, she was married to Mr .Gottlieb Hetze. Two children, a son and a daughter
were born to the union. In 1883, she, with her family came to USA. In the year
1902, she with her husband, went back to Russia. After 20 long years they returned
to America to live with son, David, remaining in Okeene until the death of Mr.
Hetze who died 2 years ago. To her great sorrow, David, her only son also died
last Feb. Her only daughter, Mrs. D. Isaac and many friends are left to mourn.
Burial was made in the Roselawn Cemetery.

information - After Peter got sick he came back and lived with his son, Daniel's
family and then with his son Frederick's family until his death. Peter married
Eva Wagner, daughter of George and Anna Elizabeth Michel Wagner. She was born
in Bauer, Russia, Nov. 8, 1844, and died Nov. 7, 1911 near Woodbine, Kansas.
Eva and Peter are buried in the little private cemetery on the farm where
they lived on the southwest quarter section 33 of Liberty Township in Dickinson
County, Kansas. Peter and Eva Wagner Langhofer and their sons were the earliest
Langhofer immigrant ancestors to arrive in America. They arrived in Baltimore
Maryland on December 7, 1875

1941, Loyd was married to Orphelia A. MILLER. Loyd died at his home on Friday
, February 7, 2003, at the age of 94. He was preceded in death by his wife of
58 years in May of 1999; four brothers, Paul Long of Clayton, NM., Lawson Long
of Clayton, NM., Kenneth Long of Gate and Elwin Long of Gate; two sisters, Hazel
Peet of Clayton, NM and Mabel Hintergardt of Stinnett, TX. He is survived by
his son, Dale and wife Betty of Gate; two grandsons, Scott and his wife, Stephanie
of Amarillo, TX and Nathan and his wife, Lindsey of Buffalo; two great-grandchildren,

At this service, Rev. and Mrs. Argeiter and Mrs. Fischer sang in German, "God
Is Love". Elmer and Edgar Longhofer sang, "Saved by Grace" Quartet
composed of Misses Ruth and Helen Beamer, Harold Westrup and Orville Belle,
sang selected sons, "No Disappointment in Heaven", "Sometime
We'll Understand", and "No Night There". The pall bearers were
his cousins, John F. Longhofer, Jesse Longhofer and Dave Longhofer of Msrion
and the husbands of his cousins, Isaac, Jake and Joe Riffel. Burial was in the
Woodbine Cemetery. Note: Frederick wrote his name as Langhofer and Longhofer
and sometimes as Fred or Fred, Jr. His children wrote their names as Langhofer
when they sent to grade school but later changed the spelling to Longhofer except
Joseph. The German spelling is "Lang" but it is pronounced "Long".
The Langhofers considered themselves Germans who had lived in Russia.

She was the daughter of David and Sabena Longhofer. In 1894 she came to America
with her mother, her brother, Gottfried Longhofer, and a nephew. They made their
home at Lincolnville, Kan. On June 15, 1895, she was united in marriage to David
Klein at Lincolnville. To this union four children were born: Mrs. G. F. Klein
of Herrington, Kan., Mrs. William Steinley of Gate, David D. Kline of Alva and
Alex Kline of Shattuck It was in 1952 that her husband preceded her in death.
Besides the four children she leaves to mourn her passing her brother, Gottfried
Longhofer of Shattuck, 15 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren and many
other relatives and friends. The body was buried in the Ebenezer Baptist cemetery.

She was born Aug. 29, 1912, at the home of her grandparents in Ness County.
Her family lived in a sod house northwest of Healy. On June 12, 1935, she married
Harold J. LUNGREN at Gove. He died Jan. 19, 2000. She is a retired teacher and
was a member and served on the boards of many local, district and state organizations,
including the General Federation of Women's Clubs. Her children and spouses
are Sheila and Jim Beougher, Larry and Anita Lundgren and Darrel Lundgren, all
of Gove. She has seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

In 1890 she was united in marriage with Gottfried KLEIN. A few years after,
with her husband and one son, David, she immigrated Wilson, Kansas. She was
the mother of 13 children, 5 predeceased her. Her husband preceded her in death
on August 29, 1941. The eight children who remain are as follows: David of Altadena,
Calif.; Gottfried of Hutchinson, Kansas; Jacob of Lucas; Alex of Tulsa, Okla.;
Mrs. Anna Luck of Lincoln; Mrs. Ida Mueller; Mrs. Mary Mueller; and Miss Minnie
Klein of Sylvan Grove.

He was the eldest child of Mary (Herbel) and George Lundgrin who were Volga
German immigrants from Driespitz, Russia. On Sept. 26, 1935, George and Eva
PETROWSKY were united in marriage at St. John's Lutheran Church. They fulfilled
their roles as Christian parents raising four daughters in a close-knit family.
Their second born, a son, (George Allen) died in 1942. George was preceded in
death by his parents, wife of 56 years, son, one granddaughter, Krystal Marie
Anderson, two brothers, Reubin and Raynard, and two sisters, Clara and Leona.
George is survived by his four daughters: Anita and her husband, Gerald Trimpe;
Camie and her husband, Don Bridal; Regina and her husband, Bruce Anderson, all
of Hooker, Okla.; Nancy and her husband, Bill Lines of Goodwell, Okla.; and
special son, Marlin Feil. Grandchildren include: Ricky Trimpe and wife Ruby;
George Trimpe; RaSonya and husband Brian Chadick; Shaun Noyes and wife Lora;
Jeff Noyes; Brooke and husband Ryan Fredricks; Cara Lines; Jennifer Anderson;
and special granddaughter, Lori Conner. Great-grandchildren are: Kevin Chadick;
Alexis and Riley Trimpe; Marcus and Monica Romero; Makenzie Noyes; and Aubrie
Fredricks. Interment will be in the Hooker Cemetery.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred D. (STEINLE) , and a son, Wilbert.
Survivor include a daughter, Anita Janowski of Milwaukee; a sister, Sarah Hawks
of Morganville; four grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren. Burial
will be in the Dorrance cemetery.

native, on Oct. 22, 1938. They were blessed with one son, Robert Alan. Following
Esther's death in December 15, 1985, A.C. met and married Lee REICH LUNDY on
August 2, 1987 in Russell. Preceding him in death were his mother and father,
wife Esther, and his two sisters: Letha Marvel and Margie Mortimer. A.C. is
survived by his wife, Leona Marie; his son Robert Alan; grandchildren: Robert
Warren, Julia Anna and Amelia Esther Lundy; and his daughter-in-law Janice A.
Lundy; his step-daughter Janice Murphy and husband Bill; six step-grandchildren:
Debbie, Carlee, Jacque, Annette, Spencer, and Ryan; and six step-gt. grandchildren
and a host of other relatives and friends.
Clergy: Rev. Michael Fibranz. Music: "Amazing Grace"; "Ava Maria",

McNEAL at Great Bend. She died Dec. 5, 1979. Survivors include: a daughter,

Esther Boxberger, Hoisington; and three grandchildren, Kenzie, Keeley and Karter
