He was married in the old country in 1877 to Miss Mary BECK (Error, he was married to Katherine Elizabeth BECK), who survives him. They had seven children, all of whom are living. They are, Jacob, David, George, Emanuel, Alexander, Mrs. Christina Reisig and Katy. He has three brothers - Michael Dumler and David Dumler, Sr., and Frederick Dumler, Sr., all of whom live here. Daughter of David and Anna (Schlothower) Dumler. At the age of 16, she came with her parents to the United States. On December 28, 1900, she married Gottfried PEIL. They had six children: twin daughters, Mrs. Adam (Pauline) Mai, Russell, and Mrs. Henry (Lydia) Ruppel, Herington; Mrs. Gottfried (Amelia) Meier, Herington; Mrs. Henry (Isabel) Galliart, Dorrance, and August Peil, Sacramento, Calif. A son, Edwqard, died in infancy. In February of 1935, Mr. Peil died. In August 1937, she was married to Andrew GALLIART, a widower with six children: Mrs. Emma Brack, Dorrance; Mrs. Elma Keil, Russell; Andrew and Ernest Gilliart, Beaver; Albert of Russell; and William of Great Bend. Mr. Gilliart died in May 1956.

She died Oct. 23, 1987. Survivors include three sons, Dennis and Mark, both of Russell, and Larry, Lyons; a sister, Helen Hunter, Wichita; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by five brothers, Marvin, Loren, Dean, Gerald and an infant, Carl, and two sisters, Fern Shakelford and Mildred Eichman.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her two step-fathers, Frank Getz and Stanley Logodzinski, a brother, Floyd Earl Dunnihoo, and her husband, Jim Creed.
