WICHITA - Evelyn Staats, 84,  passed away Tuesday, November 9, 2010.  Survivors include: children, Nancy and Mike Russell, Andover, Richard, Wichita, Susy and David Endicott, Newport Beach, Calif.; granddaughter, Sydney Endicott; sister, Dorothy Cowell; sister-in-law, Joan Yingst; and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her husband Bill, father, John Ellis Yingst, mother, Ferne McHenry, stepfather, Ralph McHenry, brother, Ed Yingst, and brother-in-laws, Darrell Cowell, Jim and wife Rosalie Staats.

Thomas J. "Tom" Yunker, 56, died Sunday, Jan. 17, 2010, in Milan, Italy.   Born May 18, 1953, in Hays, to Martin "Max" and Lydia (Staab) Yunker.   Married LOIS M. (BRUNGARDT) on Nov. 16, 1974.   Survivors include his wife, of the home, three sons, Kristopher Lee Yunker and wife, Angel, Colorado Springs, Colo., and Nicholas Martin Yunker and Nathan Paul Yunker, both of the home; five brothers, Bob Yunker and Jim Yunker and wife, Shirley, all of Hays, Chuck Yunker, Topeka, Mark Yunker and wife, Karen, Fountain, Colo., and Danny Yunker and wife, Joan, Wichita; two sisters, Janice Koshiol, Hays, Mary Alice Weed and husband, Dave, Salina; and his father and mother-in-law, Paul and Mickie Brungardt, Victoria.   Preceded in death by his parents; an infant brother, David Yunker; and a son, Matthew Thomas Yunker.
