CARSON - David Steinley Sr., 91,  died late Saturday night  (Nov. 11, 1967) in a hospital in Elgin.  Mr. Steinley, who was born May 22, 1876, in Russia, came to Mountain Lake, Minn., with his parents in 1891.   Married to Katherine Klein May 22, 1899.    Mrs. Steinley died in 1947.   In addition to his son, David, Mr. Steinley leaves five other sons, Reoinhart and John, both of Carson; Emanuel, Sonora, Calif.; Elmer, Olympia, Wash., and William, Fairview, Mont.; one daughter, Mrs. Art (Alvina) Nuss, Carson, six grandchildren and thee great-grandchildren.  He also leaves one brother, John, Marshall, Minn., and one sister, Mrs. David Miller, Fairview, Mont.  (Meyer Funeral Home, Elgin)

MOUNDRIDGE - Phil N. Stucky, 88, died April 12, 2010, at the Memorial Home.   Born Aug. 16, 1921, in Moundridge, to Peter and Anna Kaufman Stucky.   Married LAURA I. STUCKY on June 15, 1945.  She died Oct. 19, 2009. Survivors include: three sons, Ronald Stucky, Azle, Texas, Roger Stucky, McPherson, and Rick Stucky, Moundridge; two daughters, Reatha Stucky, Wichita, and Rozanne Worden, Ralston, Okla.; six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.   Preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, Melvin, Wayne and Ed R., and a sister, Marie Stucky.

Eli J. Suderman, 94, died Nov. 1 (2010) in Hillsboro. Born Aug. 9, 1916, in rural Hillsboro, to G.W. and Anna (Loewen) Suderman.  On May 25, 1942, he married EDNA KOOP. She died in 2008.

A brother, Jonas, and sisters Alma Jost, Anna Daisy Siemens, and Berniece Karber, also preceded him.

He was a member of Ebenfeld Mennonite Brethren Church, rural Hillsboro.  Survivors include two sons, Don of rural Hillsboro and Lyle of Olathe; two daughters, Carla Koslowsky of Hillsboro and Krista Bryant of Concordia; a sister, Irene Siebel of Hillsboro; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

NEWTON - Robert Dean Suderman died on Feb. 20, 2010.   Born on Dec. 1, 1928, to Alfred C. and Matilda nee (Wiebe) Suderman.  On Aug. 22, 1952, he married RUTH MELINDA JANTZ. She died Sept. 16, 2005. Survivors include: a son, Robert Suderman, Jr.; granddaughters: Pandora Suderman, Sara Suderman and Katherine Suderman.
