DENVER, Colo. - Clarence R. Thiessen, 82, passed away Oct. 9, 2010, at Denver, Colo. He was the fourth of eight children born to Henry D. and Tina Klaassen Thiessen Aug. 22, 1928. He was born near Inman, Kansas. On Feb. 13, 1955, he married HELENE HURLA. She passed away in 1984. On Sept. 14, 1986 he married KayLee Millar in Denver, Colo. She survives. Survived by his wife, KayLee; brothers, Ben L. and wife Stella Thiessen, Bruce and wife Verbie Thiessen of Inman, Kan., and Leo and wife Pat Thiessen of Grand Junction, Colo.; sisters, Lilly Ann and husband Emerson Pankratz, Sophia and husband Jim Stephens, and Eva K. and husband Willie Friesen all of Inman; sister-in-law, Alma Thiessen of Hutchinson, Kan.; mother-in-law, Virginia Millar; two stepchildren, Tammy and husband Tim Trout, and Doug and wife Kathy Durica; five grandchildren, Derek Durica, Nychelle Trout Rivera, Nattia Trout and Brooke Trout; one great grandchild, Noah Rivera; and twelve nieces and nephews. LOVE married Lillian Pauline Thiessen on November 3, 1945. Three children, Randy, Bob and Becky. Her legacy of music was a gift given to all eleven of her grandchildren Hannah, Peter, Joel and Emma Love, as well as Robert, Sam, George, Alexis, Walter, Susan and James Elder and five great-grandchildren, Isaiah, Elijah, Philip, Dalton and Jack.
