Other survivors include: four sons, Gaylen, Franklin, David, Richard; a daughter, Leigh Ann Hendrickson; a brother, Harold Dean Gabel; two sisters, Leona Dinges and Kay Heizer; 10 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.  Preceded in death by her son Howard Kerr Jr.; and a brother, Alex Gabel Jr.

He preceded her in death.  Survived by: two daughters, Neva Skinner and husband David of Moline, Ill., and Karen Schroeder Anderson and fiancé Ernst Vitovec; two granddaughters, Melissa and Stephanie Skinner; a brother, James Gaeddert of Newton; and a sister, Gladys Havens of McPherson.

NORTH NEWTON —  Mary Jane Gaeddert Wiens, 76, of North Newton passed away on Wednesday (Dec. 15, 2010) at Kidron Bethel Nursing Home.   Born on Oct. 13, 1934, in Buhler, the daughter of Frank F. and Katherine Siemens Gaeddert.  Married WILBUR R. WIENS. He passed away on April 18, 2000.  Survived by Kevin and Julie Wiens and their two children, Brittany and (Tyler) Goertzen, and Tanner, all of Hutchinson; and Melody and Greg Bontrager and their three children, Marissa, Shawn and Seth of North Newton. Also surviving are five siblings, Marna and Paul Burckhart of Hesston; Lois and Gerald Leinbach of Hesston; Frank and Mary Ellen Gaeddert of Denver; Leon and Ruth Gaeddert of Buhler; and John and LaDonna Gaeddert of Buhler. Also surviving are 13 nieces and nephews who adored their Aunt Jane.  Preceded in death by her parents.

She died Feb. 10, 2004. Survivors include: four sons, David, Winfield, Michael, Lenexa, Randy, Chase, and Shawn, Hutchinson; four daughters, Michele McKoy, Pittsburg, Mo., Renee` Sutton, Lyons, Denise Thiessen, McPherson, and Charisse Shepherd, Lyons; sister, Leota Soeken, Lyons; 23 grandchildren; and 24 great-grandchildren. Lydia Weimer Kufeldt,84, of Scottsbluff, died Friday, Dec. 17, 2010,  in Scottsbluff.  Born March 19, 1926, in Scottsbluff to Henry and Mollie (Weber) Gantz.  Married HAROLD WEIMER.  Harold died in 1954, and in 1957, she married ARTHUR KUFELDT .   Lydia was a wonderful cook, butter ball noodle soup, special cabbage burgers and rye bread being her specialties.  Survivors include her daughter, Bonnie (Ron) Hettinger of Mitchell; sons, Terry Lee (Lorraine) Weimer of Moses Lake, Wash., and Russell A. (Paula) Weimer of Scottsbluff; stepson, Arthur (Neva) Kufeldt of Sugarland, Texas; sister, Frieda Weimer of Scottsbluff; and special friend, Wauneta Green of Gering. She is also survived by grandchildren, Ron (Lori) Hettinger, Marcy (Kevin) Miller, Ali (Eric) LaFontaine, Angie (Steven) Hightower, Kristen and Kendra Kufeldt, ten great-grandchildren and four great great grandchildren.  Her parents; both husbands; brothers Al Miller, Henry Miller and John Miller; sisters Mary Gorr, Rose Follis, Pauline Hort, Esther Ehler, Ruth Meter and infant sister Mollie Gantz; and a grandson Tyler Wilson Weimer preceded her in death.

BOISE, Idaho -  Marie Heigel, of Scottsbluff, passed away on Friday, May 28, 2010, at the home of her daughter in Boise, Idaho. She died just 10 days after her 96th birthday.  Marie was born to German emigrants, George and Charlotte (Borne) Gantz in Winnipeg, Manitoba Canada on May 18, 1914.  On July 23, 1936, she was married to JOHN HEIGEL.   He died Nov. 23, 1992.

She is survived and will be lovingly missed by her sons, LeRoy (Joyce) of Green River, Wyo., Richard (Judy) of Gering, Roger (Kathie) of Bayard; daughter, Shirley (Doug) Jackson of Boise, Idaho; adoring grandchildren, Matthew (Farrah) Heigel of Lincoln, Neb., Mark Heigel of Bayard, Kristi (Jeff) Lutjelusche of Aurora, Colo., Jerrine (Glen) Hicks of Sedalia, Colo., Lori (Jay) Delaney of Meridian, Idaho and Kelli Jackson of Las Vegas, Nev.; great grandchildren, Cori, Whitney, Kylie, Douglas, Michelle, Joelle, Hailey and Makayla; great-great grandchildren, Jacob, Kaylee and Averee; sisters, Frieda Bender of Kennnewick, Wash., Leah Aman of Kennewick Wash., Rachel Meier of Gering, and Haulda Weimer of Morrill; sister-in-law, Phyllis Gantz of Ault, Colo., Pat Gantz of Oregon City, Ore, . Giesbrecht.   He married in 1946.  His survivors also include: five sons, Gerald (Audrey), Charles (Martha), Rodney (Melva), Verle (Grace) and Jeffrey (Priscilla); two daughters, Marilyn Koehn (Leroy) and Luanne Holdeman (Lloyd); 26 grandchildren; and 30 great-grandchildren.
