GLENDIVE, Mont. - Emma Hass, 94, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 3, 2010, at the Glendive Medical Center Extended Care in Glendive.    Born July 16, 1915, in Nebraska the daughter of Jacob and Katherine (Reifschnieder) Abel.   Married ALEC HASS April 25, 1937.   Survivors include her sons, Larry (Gloria) Hass of Glendive, John (Lisa Subcasky) Haas of Pleasant View, Utah and Don (Donna) Hass of Hood River, Ore.; eight grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren; sister Lydia Tripple and brother Walter Abel both of Gering.  Preceding her in death was her husband, Alec, in 1994, three sisters and three brothers.

Barry L. Allen, 53, of Harrisonville, MO passed away September 3, 2010.  Born July 1, 1957 in Kansas City, Missouri the son of Seth and Mary Wheeler Allen. He was preceded in death by his father, Seth and brother, Gordon. He is survived by his wife, Caroline of 16 years and mother Mary. 

Note:  The wife, Caroline, is the daughter of Frank and Edna Kramer Lowe.  Her great grandparents were born in Driespitz, Russia.

Schlager, 76, died Tuesday, Oct. 5, 2010, at Community Hospital and cremation has taken place.   Born Dec. 5, 1933 in Devils Lake, N.D. the daughter of George and Margaret (Houchins) Amberg.   Married WILLIAM SCHLAGER on Nov. 11, 1953.  Survived by her husband Bill of Torrington; daughters, Lynda (Ken) Ferrari of Cheyenne, Wyo., Elizabeth (Jim) DeMott of Torrington, Cherie (Bart) Trautwein of Lingle, Wyo., and Joanna (Tom) Daiss of Lingle; sons, Jeff (Sandy) Schlager of Eaton, Colo., William (Sherry) Schlager Jr. of Ft. Collins, Colo., and Lonny Schlager and his fiancée of Torrington; sisters, Pat Amberg, Frances Glass, Margaret Clarke, and Rosemary Kilgore all of Torrington; brother, Thomas Amberg of Arvada, Colo.; 23 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and her poodle Holly.  Preceding Marlene in death were her parents; sister, Nanette Rhynsburger; and granddaughter, Marissah Knowles.

BAYARD - William R. Amend, 88, died Sunday, Feb. 28, (2010) at Regional West Medical Center.

Born June 17, 1921, in Lincoln to Henry and Anna (Brott) Amend.   Survivors include his sister, Marlene Eddington of Bayard; sisters-in-law, Darlene Amend of Kenniwick, Wash. and Edna Amend of Kearney; and numerous nephews, nieces and great nephews and nieces.  His parents; brothers, Herman, Richard, Robert and Harry Amend; sisters, Helen Reifschneider, Irene Derby and Betty Matthews; infant twin brother, Wilber and an infant sister, Elmira all preceded him in death.

BAYARD - Mary Pauline Huck, 103, died Thursday, May 27, 2010,  in Bayard.

Born April 28, 1907, in Lincoln, Neb., the daughter of John Philip and Elizabeth (Kniss) Andreas.

Married  JAKE HUCK.  Survivors include her son-in-law, Charles Bibbey of Bayard; daughter-in-law, Shirley Huck of Bayard; grandchildren Michelle Kay Arcoren of Gering, Bradley (Dori) Huck of Bridgeport and Matthew (Heidi) Huck of Bayard; great-grandchildren, Andrea (Tony) Mitchell of Bridgeport, Taylor Huck and Jada Huck of Bridgeport, and Jakob, Kade and Nyah Huck of Bayard; step great-granddaughter, Shawna Quevedo of Bridgeport; great-great granddaughter, Destinee Huck of Bridgeport; great-great grandson, Grayson Mitchell of Bridgeport; step great-great granddaughter, Cassidy Mitchell of Bridgeport; sister, Helen Reichert of Othello, Wash.; brother, John (Marge) Andreas and sister-in-law, Eldora Andreas all of Scottsbluff; and numerous nieces and nephews.   Her parents, husband Jake in 1966, daughter Marilyn in 2002, son Richard in 2003, two sisters and four brothers preceded her in death.

Herbert J Androes, 92, formerly of Hutchinson, died Aug. 1, 2010, in Peterborough, New Hampshire. Born April 25, 1918, in Buhler, Ks, the son of Bernard and Maria Vogt Androes. He was in the Army Air Corp.     Married VELMA MANGES .  She died on Dec. 13, 1998. Survivors include: three daughters, Donna Snyder (Dan), Nickerson, Valara Kottle (Dan), New Ipswich, N.H. and Cheri Craig (Larie), Fayetteville , Ark.; nine grandchildren, Brian, Susie, Holly, Dana, Michelle, Corey, Jaime, Brady and Desi and 19 great-grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Elsie Dyck, brother, Ervin Androes and grandson Toby Ratzlaff.
