Survivors include her sister, Lois Coane of Grand Junction, CO; her nieces and nephews; and her housemate, Katie Klassen. Preceded in death by her parents, six brothers, and a sister.

WICHITA - Frank Dwayne "Dud" Miller, 94, passed away Saturday, Aug. 22, 2009. The folks of St John knew Frank only as "Dud." Born Aug. 14, 1915, the son of Perry Elmer Miller and Florence Belle Miller of St John Kansas. He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Wade Miller and his sister Edna Berryman. He was survived by his sister, Lois Collins and Lucille Miller. His lasting legacy will be his two children Kay and Dennis, five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Married LUCILLE HAY.

Dr. Inghram Miller died Nov. 1, 2009. Born June 10, 1923, to Glen Miller and Jesse Inghram Miller. He was a fourth generation Newtonian; his mother's family pioneered here in 1870. His fathers family came a few years later, and his grandfather, Dr. Max Miller started a medical practice in Newton in 1884. Inghram Miller was very proud of his heritage and often reminisced about it. His wife, Joyce, preceded him in death on Aug. 2007. He is survived by nieces Marilyn Pattison of Overland Park and Annette J. McLaughlin of Prairie Village; and nephew, Max I. Miller Jr. of Breckenridge, Colo.

Married MAURICE J. BASGALL. This union was blessed with six children: Gladys, Dave, Judy, Mary Louise, Sheila and Cliff. Maurice preceded her in death on Aug. 24, 1993.
