Mary Katherine Bohl - Mary Katherine Bierig born March 15, 1878, Neubraues, Russia, near the Volga River, to Georbge Jacob Bierig and Mary Katherine (Shreiner) Bierig. Married JACOB "JAKE" BOHL Feb. 17, 1897. Both Jacob's and Mary's families were among German immigrants who settled in southwest Russia. Mary's family came to America in 1892. Jake died 19 April 1953. Mary died 21 December 1967. Children: Leah (John) Zeller, Ruth (Ezra) Greb, Adam (Katie) Bohl, Eva (Frank) Bolleau, George (Medreath) Bohl, Pete (Elizabeth) Bohl, Elsie (Sam) Becher, Esther (Gene) Arlen. Ruth died June 8, 1909; Phillip was killed in a tractor accident January 21, 1929.

Leroy Dean L.D. Blehm, the son of Roy Harrison and Mary Ava (Wray) Blehm, was born March 8, 1928, in Hitchcock, Okla., and passed from this life Saturday, Aug. 22, 2009, at Okeene. Married OMA LEE BAIRD in 1948. After their divorce, he left his daughter, Becky, to be raised by his parents. He was united in marriage in 1951 to LELA LOUISE JURY. Their union was blessed with two sons and lasted 51 years, until Lela's death in 2002. Survived by his daughter, Becky Ake and her husband Larry west of Hitchcock; his son, Brad Blehm and his wife Henri of Okeene; three grandchildren, Pam Ake Drake, Katie Blehm and Thomas Blehm; two great-grandchildren, Levi Drake and Beca Drake; and one sister, Pat Price of Watonga.He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife and son, Tom. FARMINGTON, N.M. — Karl Brack died Sunday morning, July 19, (2009). Karl began life’s journeys from Great Bend on June 2, 1958. His new-found family included Anita Velasquez, Ann Glasson, Lanell Sweetland, Ron Pryor, Mike Ware and Guy Shephard, just to name a few, but his spirit touched many more.

Karl is survived by his sons, Joshua Brack and Kaleb Brack, and his sister, Linda Olson. Preceded in death by his parents, Orlan and Josephine (Ludwig) Brack, and sisters, Carol Sue Brack and Arleen Brack.
