Los Angeles, May 26 AP—The charge against a man who invited two marines to his apartment for a round of drinks will be changed to murder as the result of the death of one. Private First Class Keith Loran, 22, died Sunday night at Corona Naval Hospital. His friend, Private First Class Loren Ticknor, 22, still is in serious condition at the hospital. Both marines were stationed at Camp Pendleton, Cal. Loran’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Loran, and a brother, Gerald Loran, are of Billings, Mont. BAUER and to this union three children were born, JoAnn, William and James. Survived by her husband of 59 years, Alvin; daughter, JoAnn (William) Lathrop of Gering; son, William D. (Janet) Bauer of Gering; grandchildren, Lindsey Lathrop, Shana Lathrop (fiance, Levi Twombly), Erin Bauer, Meagan (Andy) Stobel and Victoria Bauer; and two great-grandchildren, Sheridan and Carter. Preceded in death by her parents and son, James P. Bauer.

Surviving family includes four children, Rodney Cook of Lucas, Ryan Cook and wife Kathy, Lana Green and Crystal Dana, all of Bunker Hill; three sisters, Vergie Heffel of Luray, Blanche Hilgenberg of Ellis and Gloria Waymaster of Bunker Hill; six grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
