She was born December 23rd, 1912, at Isabella to Frank and Elizabeth (Hill) Rade and died Wednesday, February 18th, 1998 at the Okeene Hospital. Married Sam NUSZ at Enid in 1929. She is survived by one daughter, Janice Laubach of Okeene, Oklahoma; one sister, Hannah Smith of Sutter Creek, California; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, one son, four brothers, and four sisters. Note: Ancestral village is Dobrinka for the Nusz line.

In the early morning hours of Nov. 1, 2008, August Reich passed away. Born on Dec. 10, 1921, to Andreas and Jacobina Reich in Wishek, N.D. He was the fifth of 14 children. Brothers Philip (Anetta), Emil (June), Andy (Marge), Walter (Jeanne), sisters Irene Byrd, Tena (Chris) Christensen and Katie Nafts survive him. His parents, sisters Frieda Weixel, Viola Robertus and Alvina Zentner and brothers Reinhold, Rubin and Milton Reich (whose wife Alice survives) preceded him in death. Gus Reich and June VAN ANTWERP were marred in Columbus in 1944. From this union, his four surviving children, Darlene (Dail) King, Keith (Vanessa) Reich, Kevin Reich and Desiree Reich, were born. There are also two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. They were later divorced. When Gus married Bea, he added stepchildren Cindi (Gary) Roth, Steve (Thelma) Bennett, Michael Bennett, Scott Bennett, Casey (Michele) Bennett and Travis Bennett, all of whom also survive him, along with seven grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Gus is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews

LOVELLO, Wyo. - Hortense "Tensie" May Hoff, 89, passed away June 12, 2008, in Lovello, Wyo. Survivors include her husband Russell HOFF; they celebrated their 67th anniversary on May 29, 2008. Tensie was born May 8, 1919, on a ranch in Arthur Colo., Neb., to William and Hortense Reichenberg. After World War II, the Hoffs lived in Gering and their first three children were born in the Scottsbluff hospital - Irbi, Craig and Gene. They survive and live in Wyoming with their families. Brent was born in Wyoming and lives in Salem, Ore., with his family. Survivors include three daughter-in-laws, one son-in-law; 27 grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sister Alice Allison of Scottsbluff; and many nephews and nieces.

OBITUARY - EVA NUSZ - OKEENE - Funeral Services for Eva Nusz, 83, who died Friday in an Okeene Hospital, will be at 2:30 p.m.. Sunday, at St. John's United Church of Christ. Mrs. Nusz was born in Oberdorf, Russia, August 5, 1897, to John and Mary Rusch and came to the United States in 1909. She married Carl NUSZ in Okeene in May 1916. She was preceded in death by her husband and one brother. Survivors include four daughters, Mrs. Albert (Edna) Schnell, Mrs. Alice Irion, and Mrs. Jim (Olinda) McBride, all of Okeene, and Mrs. Leonard (Lena) Osmus, Enid; three sons, Raymond and Jim of Okeene and Roy, Oklahoma City; six sisters; five brothers; 15 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Eugene Harold Rutz, 65, was born Dec. 29, 1942, in Lemmon, S.D., to Rev. Helmuth and his wife, Rhoda (nee Gerth) Rutz. He died on July 19. (2008). Married Patricia Ann SYDOW at ILC in Eau Claire. The Lord blessed them with two daughters and one son, Tammy (Jeff) Trippler of Indianapolis, David (Dee) Rutz of Katy, Texas, and Heidi (Jim) Weaver of Yorba Linda, Calif. They were also blessed with eight grandchildren, Amanda, Brandon, Micah, Julia, Tori, Brittany, Corey and Alyssa. Gene is survived by his wife, Pat; all his children and grandchildren, and his brothers and sisters, Gerald (Jane) Rutz and Barb (Bob) Ruegge of Cheyenne, Delbert (Pat) Rutz of Balaton, Minn., and Nadine (Ron) Hatlewick of Leola, S.D., and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents. Gene served the Lord as pastor of several congregations from 1966-1984.
